This is largely due to the proximity of Donat Mg – a natural mineral water, some 8000 years old, which possesses healing and medicinal properties. This spring water is en-riched by minerals such as magnesium, calcium and hydrogen carbonates to provide a chemical composition that helps relieve and prevent various diseases and illnesses. It is perhaps this water alone that has provided Rogaška with a reputation as a therapeutic, restorative location.
