What is Needling?
Microneedling with a needle roller is a minimally invasive medical procedure for improving the structure of the skin. During treatment needles puncture the epidermis and dermis, causing tiny perforations in the skin. This leads to the emergence of growth factors (proteins and hormones), which are associated with scar-free healing and which set in train the regeneration of the skin.
What effect does Needling have?
Needling can increase 3,000-fold the uptake of highly concentrated active substances by the skin. In healing the microscopic flaws associated with the many tiny punctures made by a needle roller, the skin produces new collagen. In the process, wrinkles are smoothed away naturally.
Microneedling with a blend of active substances
Mesotherapy and Collagen Induction Therapy are effective treatments in both the immediate and the long term. The skin is perforated, using a needle roller and channels are opened into the dermis. A highly concentrated blend of active substances then penetrate deep into the skin, to stimulate the production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. The skin forms new qualitatively superior collagen. This makes the skin tighter and gives it a better blood supply, which improves its appearance. The skin has a more delicate appearence, giving a fresh and youthful effect. Microneedling is a procedure for improving the structure of the skin where there are lines and wrinkles, enlarged pores, alterations in pigmentation, scars, acne spots and pregnancy-related stretch marks.
